Notice of Assessment (NOA)
The official summary of your tax return sent by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

What is it?
After you file your taxes, the CRA sends you a Notice of Assessment. It confirms the amount of tax you owe or the refund you will receive, and crucially, your total income (Line 15000).
Why do we need it?
This is the gold standard for income verification in Canada. It proves to the lender exactly what income you reported to the government and confirms that you do not verify outstanding tax arrears.
Key Requirements
We typically need the last 2 years of NOAs.
Must show your name, the tax year, and Line 15000 (Total Income).
Must not show any large outstanding tax balance (unless we are refinancing to pay it).
All pages of the document are required.
