The T1 General is the detailed form you (or your accountant) fill out when filing taxes. It breaks down all sources of income, deductions, and credits.
Why do we need it?
For self-employed individuals or those with complex income (rentals, investments), the NOA isn't enough. The T1 General shows the *source* of the income, not just the total.
Key Requirements
Full package required (usually 50+ pages), including the Statement of Business Activities (T2125) if self-employed.
Must be for the same years as the requested NOAs.
Must be the final version submitted to the CRA.
