What is it?
A cheque from your account with 'VOID' written across it, or a pre-authorized debit (PAD) form provided by your bank.
Why do we need it?
The lender needs this to set up automatic withdrawals for your mortgage payments.
Key Requirements
Must be for the account you want payments withdrawn from.
Must have your name pre-printed on it (no handwritten names on blank cheques).
If using a PAD form, it must be stamped by the bank.
